Heart of Missions

SERVE teams have a "heart" for serving in order to demonstrate the love of Christ in practical ways. SERVE teams have gone all over the world including Alaska, China, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Korea, Malawi, Mexico, Mozambique, Peru, Sudan, Uganda, Ukraine, Zambia and Zimbabwe. SERVE mission projects have included ongoing design and construction of medical clinics, housing facilities, a retreat center, churches and Bible Colleges; participation in frontier medical camps and gospel missions, follow-up discipleship and practical skills training, foreign language camps and programmatic support to fulfill requests from its partners.
Soul of Our Volunteers


The "soul" of our volunteers and of SERVE believes that the Bible is the holy Word of God, the only infallible rule of faith and life. We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His return in power and glory. We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and that all who receive Him are born anew by the Holy Spirit who indwells each believer.

Mind of Serve

The "mind" of the SERVE organization is in following the call of Jesus to go out into the overlooked, underserved, ignored places and invites into God's love those who have not effectively heard the gospel. SERVE teams develop ongoing relationships in these settings over time to accomplish this goal, learning, growing and sharing responsively in God's grace in its varied expressions.

Strength of Short-term Team Projects

The "strength" of SERVE is in building teams of faithful, servant-hearted volunteers of every age who want to offer their experience, skills and enthusiasm in Christian service. Our focus is on serving those who are least served, often in dynamic frontier missions settings. Be part of one of our upcoming team projects:

  • Kenya – medical, gospel and educational missions, self-development of people
  • Western Alaska – construction, program support and native outreach program
  • Ethiopia – Bible School development including engineering and construction, tuition support and opportunities to teach
  • China – tutoring conversational English
  • India and the Andes, South America –medical and mission outreaches
